Obituary for John G. Galli:
John G. Galli who was born to Giovanni and Emma DiGiovanni Galli on June 17, 1936, in Hartford, Ct., died on June 29, 2026, in Bonita Springs, Florida after celebrating his 90th birthday.
He married Norma Michaud on January 15th, 1954. Norma passed away on September 25, 1991.
John learned his trade with Pratt & Whitney in 1957. He received his engineering degree in 1960.
After 17 years he left Pratt & Whitney and moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to join the LL Richards Machinery Company.
He was a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and received the Master Marketing Award in 1964.
He retired from LL Richards in 1992 and moved to Florida where he met Jeanine Elizabeth
Fowler. John started his 2nd career in Florida Real Estate with Jeanine. He retired in 2008.
They were married in August 1994. John was a wonderful husband and loved his family and Italian heritage. He loved the Mountains of North Carolina and hiking was a favorite pastime.
John is survived by Jeanine Galli and four children, John (Margaret) Galli, Ill of Missouri, Emma Lynn (Dale) of Colorado Springs, Co., Susan Ann (Michael) McCullough of Delafield, Wisconsin and Marc S. (Doreen) Galli of Henderson, NV.
He was the proud grandfather of James (Jennifer) McCullough, Kimberly McCullough and
Kelli McCullough, Michael (Morgan) Bowman, Daniel (Mallory) Bowman, Marc (Valerie) Galli Jr., Steven (Kristin) Galli & Justin (Lauren) Galli. John shared and enjoyed the children of Jeanine for 34 years. Cris (Laura) Fowler and Wendi Fowler (Tim) Carmichael and grandchildren, Jon (Heather) Fowler, Mary Kate (Peter) Brunner, Nate (Maddie) Fowler and Ann Elizabeth Voth. John and Jeanine share 13 great grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and 5 siblings, Anna Piergrossi, Edith Eldredge, Dora Martina, Annette Ahern, Claire Fleming and Benjamin Fowler, grandchild, and two great grandchildren. He is survived by a brother, Fred Galli, Durham Ct. and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home 28300 Tamiami Tr. S., Bonita Springs, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church 28300 Beaumont Rd., Bonita Springs, FL. Following the Mass a reception for family and friends will be held in the Parish Life Center at St. Leo the Great.
Entombment will then follow at Palm Royale Cemetery, Naples, FL.
